Bada has been appointed as an “Eco Friends” official ambassador for the 23rd Seoul International Environmental Film Festival, which kicks off on June 5. During the appointment ceremony held on the 21st of last month at the Environmental Foundation’s Rachel Carson Hall in Jung-gu, Seoul, Bada shared, “Just as I’ve always wanted to produce a sound as refreshing and beautiful as the sea, I will now use my voice to sincerely speak up for the environment.”
Bada also actively participated in a plogging campaign with her fans. On April 29, the social contribution campaign “Green Road – Plogging with Donation,” organized by the Uniqlo Myeongdong store and the Environmental Foundation, took place in the Myeongdong area of Seoul. About 40 people joined in, including Uniqlo Myeongdong staff, Environmental Foundation officials, Bada’s fan club “Calliope,” citizen volunteers, and entertainer Julian. Bada spent a meaningful time with citizens, promoting both environmental protection and health by picking up litter while walking through the city.
Bada’s actions go beyond simple participation. She is sending a powerful message that an artist who touches hearts with music on stage can also move the world through environmental action off stage. By showing that small steps can lead to big changes, she is expanding the meaning of this journey through a shared community experience with her fans.
Bada expressed, “Just as I convey my heart through songs, I believe that small actions for the environment can also create a great resonance. I will continue this journey for the planet together with my fans.”
Meanwhile, Bada plans to expand her environmental projects and campaigns, including the “Green Heart Jebudo Beachcombing” activity with fans on the 24th. Beyond her music on stage, Bada intends to fulfill her responsibility for a sustainable future and continue her heartwarming journey for the Earth alongside her fans.
