Kang Yu-jin opened up about her foot pain on the show ‘Special World’.
Singer Kang Yu-jin appeared on MBN’s ‘Special World’ aired on the 7th.
During the episode, she revealed her life as the ‘Barefoot Trot Diva’. She mentioned experiencing foot pain after her performances, explaining that performing barefoot because of this pain has actually become her trademark.
Kang Yu-jin shared, “Once I get on stage, I forget everything. I sing as if there is no tomorrow.”
Her journey hasn’t been easy. Although she debuted in a popera group, she had to stop her activities after two years when her agency went bankrupt. She then challenged herself with trot, but it took a long time to find success. She finally gained recognition after appearing on a competition program.
