BIGBANG’s Taeyang revealed the behind-the-scenes stories of his Coachella performance on ‘Salon Drip’.
Taeyang, who returned with his fourth full-length album ‘QUINTESSENCE’, appeared as a guest on the web variety show ‘Salon Drip’ via the YouTube channel ‘TEO’ on the 12th.
BIGBANG recently made waves for their appearance at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in Indio, California. Taeyang confessed he had plenty of worries before the show, sharing, “Since we had a long hiatus and it’s such a global stage, I wondered if many people would still know our songs.”
However, the moment he stepped onto the stage, Taeyang felt that “this is ‘Bangchella’.” He shared the secret behind captivating the massive crowd, noting, “I think the bigger the stage, the less nervous I get.”
Taeyang also mentioned that the stage was built in the middle of the desert with absolutely nothing around. He admitted he was worried about the staff’s meals since catering was only available at specific times, but he noted, “I was worried they might go hungry, but delivery apps are actually quite good.”
