BIGBANG’s Taeyang shared the behind-the-scenes story of his shirtless performance during the Coachella show and expressed his satisfaction with the result.
On the 12th, the YouTube variety show ‘Salon Drip’ hosted by Jang Do-yeon released a video titled “I don’t care! Revealing the behind-the-scenes of Bangchella, the new song, and the memes.” BIGBANG’s Taeyang appeared as a guest in the episode.
Taeyang traveled to the US for BIGBANG’s Coachella performance. When Jang Do-yeon asked if there was a moment he liked the most, Taeyang proudly replied, “Taking off my clothes during the ‘Ringa Linga’ solo stage wasn’t originally planned. I just felt the vibe and did it. I think it looked cooler than I expected. The fancams keep popping up on my feed.”
Jang Do-yeon asked, “Do you usually enjoy showing off your chest?” Taeyang laughed and replied, “No. I’m actually more shy about exposing myself than you’d think.”
Jang Do-yeon mentioned, “I think I’ve seen quite a few stages where you were completely shirtless. There were times when your sleeveless top only covered your belly button.” Taeyang caused laughter by admitting, “I wore something quite low-cut this time too. I think there was especially a lot of exposure this time.”
