Girl group Billlie hit the stage of ‘Show Champion’ for a stunning comeback performance of their double title tracks ‘ZAP’ and ‘WORK’.
Appearing on the May 13 broadcast of MBC M and MBC every1’s ‘Show Champion’, Billlie (Siyoon, Sheon, Tsuki, Moon Sua, Haram, Suhyun, Haruna) performed their double title tracks ‘ZAP’ and ‘WORK’ from their first full-length album, ‘the collective soul and unconscious: chapter two’.
Billlie brought their girl-crush energy to the stage, sporting the “denim-on-denim” look from the highly-viewed ‘WORK’ performance video. Marking their first music show performance of ‘WORK’, the group showcased a sophisticated hybrid genre charm like never before.
With a catchy beat blending bass house and industrial hip-hop, Billlie exploded with confident energy and perfectly synchronized “knife-like” choreography. Their popularity was evident as ‘WORK’ even landed them a spot as a candidate for the Champion Song.
In the following ‘ZAP’ stage, Billlie flaunted a deeper, dark charisma. They captured an unwavering confidence in the word ‘ZAP’, delivering it through bold vocals and powerful rapping that completely captivated the audience.
From the “hook dance” featuring lock-shaped hand gestures to a performance that shifted between intensity and fluidity, and a narration that silenced everything, Billlie demonstrated overwhelming stage presence.
Following the release of their first full-length album, Billlie is writing a new chapter with an enthusiastic response from global fans. The double title tracks ‘ZAP’ and ‘WORK’ took 1st and 2nd place on the domestic iTunes EDM chart, while ‘ZAP’ hit 1st place on YouTube Shorts’ daily popular songs and graced the cover and first track of Amazon Music’s K-Girls playlist.
With both ‘ZAP’ and ‘WORK’ becoming hits, Billlie is expected to continue their active comeback promotions through various music shows, radio programs, and variety shows.
