Group YUHZ is here to record the brilliance of youth!
YUHZ (Hyo, Bohyun, Haruto, Junseong, Jaeil, Kai, Yantai, and Sechan) will release their first single album ‘Orange Record’ today, May 7, at 6 PM.
‘Orange Record’ marks the beginning of YUHZ, serving as an archive of the dazzling moments of youth where excitement and curiosity intersect. By combining “orange,” symbolizing expectation and curiosity, with “record,” meaning to document or record, the album vividly showcases YUHZ’s honest and pure emotions as they first face the world.
The team name YUHZ is short for ‘Your Hertz,’ carrying the meaning of gathering the scattered emotions and waves of the world into a single piece of music to connect “you” and “me.” These eight boys, who have walked toward the same dream, are now setting ‘Orange Record’ as their first frequency to communicate with global K-pop fans.
The title track ‘Rush Rush’ is a pop song featuring a glamorous string riff and a refreshing melody and sound that explodes as the song progresses. YUHZ expresses their determination to move forward without hesitation, even if they are clumsy, through bold, energetic vocals and performance.
The B-side track ‘Supalove’ delivers a message of protecting you like a superhero. Through lyrics about returning the strength gained from your love back to you, YUHZ conveys both the team’s confident ambition and their sincerity toward their fans.
As a multinational rookie boy group consisting of the final eight members from the SBS mega-global audition ‘B:MY BOYZ,’ YUHZ has already stood out in various fields before their official debut. Last year, they won Rookie Awards at both the ’20th Asia Model Awards’ and the ‘2025 Korea Hallyu Entertainment Awards.’ They also successfully completed a solo fan concert in Japan and performed at the ‘TGC (Tokyo Girls Collection),’ one of the largest fashion festivals in the region.
To celebrate their official debut, YUHZ is actively communicating with fans worldwide to build anticipation for their future activities. They successfully wrapped up a busking event at Mangwon Hangang Park in Mapo-gu, Seoul, on the 5th, and held a live broadcast via their official YouTube and TikTok channels on the 6th to share meaningful stories.
Meanwhile, YUHZ’s debut single album ‘Orange Record’ will be available on various online music sites starting May 7 at 6 PM. Following this, YUHZ plans to expand their global reach by holding their first fan meeting, ‘Our Greeting,’ in Japan on the 16th.
In particular, the members’ diverse personalities and strong teamwork make their future steps even more anticipated. Through their debut promotions, YUHZ plans to establish themselves not just as a rookie group, but as new icons representing youth.
