Actor Bong Tae-gyu has opened up about the heartbreak he felt due to malicious comments targeting his son’s appearance.
On the 14th, a video featuring Bong Tae-gyu was released on the ‘SPNS TV’ channel.
Sharing his inner pain, Bong Tae-gyu said, “I lived a satisfied life and had a positive outlook. However, after my debut, I started noticing people criticizing me. There were especially many comments about my appearance.”
He continued, “I ignored it the first few times, but the comments were relentless. Back then, you could post comments on articles instantly, and I saw the insults directed at my child more directly.” Bong Tae-gyu previously appeared on KBS2’s ‘The Return of Superman’ with his son, Si-ha, back in 2018.

Bong Tae-gyu confessed, “Without even realizing it, I became sensitive and developed complexes and feelings of inferiority. The more successful I became, the less I could enjoy it. I was so angry that I wondered where it was coming from. I felt so annoyed looking at my mother, and looking at a photo of my maternal grandmother made me feel like I was going crazy. I can’t just deny who they are, right?”
Meanwhile, Bong Tae-gyu married photographer Hashishibak in 2015 and is the father of a son, Si-ha, and a daughter, Bon-bi.
