
It’s BTS’s world!
BTS has officially taken over the KM Chart amidst the fever of their worldwide comeback.
The global standard K-pop chart, “KM Chart,” announced the results for the April monthly chart on its official website on the 30th.
First up, BTS claimed the #1 spot in the K-MUSIC (Digital) category with “SWIM.” Proving their worldwide popularity once again immediately after their comeback, BTS showcased their status as “global pop icons” by dominating the KM Chart following their success in the global music market.
Joining them in the TOP 10 are AKMU with “Joy, Sorrow, and Beautiful Heart,” Hearts2Hearts with “RUDE!”, IVE with “BANG BANG,” PLAVE with “Born Savage,” KiiiKiii with “404 (New Era),” Hwasa (MAMAMOO) with “Good Goodbye,” TOMORROW X TOGETHER with “Stick With You,” Hanroro with “I Will Love You,” and BLACKPINK with “JUMP.”
BTS achieved a double crown by also grabbing the #1 spot in the K-MUSIC ARTIST category. Following them were TOMORROW X TOGETHER in 2nd and PLAVE in 3rd, with Hearts2Hearts, BLACKPINK, Young Tak, LE SSERAFIM, Jin (BTS), IVE, and Jungkook (BTS) also ranking high.
In the HOT CHOICE (Popularity) Male category, V (BTS) took the #1 spot. With both the group and solo members reaching the top of the charts, BTS’s powerful influence is truly felt. He was followed by Lee Chan-won, Lim Young-woong, Kang Daniel, Jin (BTS), Yeonjun (TOMORROW X TOGETHER), Jang Min-ho, THE BOYZ, Young Tak, and Jungkook (BTS).
In the Female category, Dreamcatcher maintained their #1 position once again, showing their incredible strength through a long-term reign. The TOP 10 was rounded out by Yuna (ITZY), XIN, Odd Youth, Moonbyul (MAMAMOO), Irene (Red Velvet), Billlie, XG, Kep1er, and BABYMONSTER.
The ROOKIE category also highlighted the activities of some impressive newcomers. In the Male category, ALPHA DRIVE ONE took the top spot, followed by CORTIS, LNGSHOT, AHOF, KEYVITUP, TUNEXX, idntt, IDID, AM8IC, and AxMxP.
In the Female category, HADES claimed the top spot. KiiiKiii, S2IT, ifeye, Baby DONT Cry, ALLDAY PROJECT, AtHeart, iii, AFuture, and OWIS also made the list.
