BTS Suga Stuns Fans by Finishing 12km Marathon in Top 5% Right Before US Concert!

BTS Suga (born Min Yoongi) is making headlines after it was revealed that he completed a 12km marathon on the very same day as his performance at Stanford in the US.

The San Francisco Chronicle, a prominent daily newspaper in the San Francisco area, recently highlighted Suga’s participation in an article titled “BTS Star Suga Makes Waves with Bay to Breakers Participation.”

According to the report, Suga took part in the “Bay to Breakers” long-distance running event held in San Francisco on the 17th (local time). This iconic 12km race has been held since 1912 and is famous for its course across San Francisco, which is considered challenging due to its steep hills.

The report states that Suga finished the race with a time of 1 hour, 4 minutes, and 43 seconds. With an average pace of 8 minutes and 41 seconds per mile, he ranked 1,022nd out of 20,530 participants, placing him in the top 5%.

What’s truly amazing is that after finishing the marathon, Suga took the stage that evening for BTS’s world tour performance at Stanford Stadium. While he delivered a high-energy performance, he appeared to be struggling with his legs toward the end of the show. Fans who were worried were later shocked to discover it was the aftereffect of the marathon.

Following the performance, the BTS members shared the behind-the-scenes story of Suga’s marathon participation during a Weverse Live broadcast.

V explained, “Yoongi hyung said he needed to diet, so he’s been running really hard. He ran 10km a day.” Jimin added, “He woke up at 6 AM on the day of the performance to participate in a famous marathon. His calves were so swollen that he was limping before going up for the encore. We were very worried.”
