BTS V Takes Mexico by Storm! Fans Swoon Over His Heartfelt

BTS held their first-ever concert in Mexico at the Estadio GNP Seguros in Mexico City on the 7th (local time). After a long wait, the energy from local fans was absolutely explosive!

V, in particular, showed off his overwhelming presence starting from the soundcheck. Sporting a two-tone hairstyle, his visuals reminded fans of an anime character, instantly capturing everyone’s attention.

Once the main show began, V dominated the stage with explosive vocals and powerful performances. Switching between charismatic energy and his signature playful charm, he proved once again why he is a true “stage genius.”

The welcome for BTS, visiting Mexico for the first time in nine years, was incredibly warm. Fans gathered around the Zócalo Square, where the National Palace is located, greeting the members with placards and photos.

V’s use of the Spanish phrase “Mucho picante” (Very spicy) during the show also triggered a massive reaction. Local news channels featured the comment in their main headlines, and it quickly spread as a meme on social media. The local outlet El Financiero showed great interest, highlighting V’s Spanish skills and his history of filming in Mexico.

V proved his massive popularity by recording the highest number of social media mentions for two consecutive days. He also hit a 100% search peak on Google Trends in Mexico.

Fans also prepared a special gift. The Mexican fanbase ‘Kim Taehyung MX’ announced that they installed a commemorative plaque with V’s real name, ‘Kim Taehyung,’ on the silver wall of the ‘Museo de Arte Popular (MAP)’ in the heart of Mexico City. Fans shared that it is “a space created with respect, memories, and affection.”

During the closing remarks, V expressed his sincerity to fans in Spanish. He touched hearts by saying, “I really missed Mexico ARMY. I love you so much,” adding, “You are the reason for my life and my everything.”
