Kim Tae-ri has returned to Cannes, France, after 10 years!
On May 20, Kim Tae-ri shared several photos taken locally on her social media with the caption, “Cannes after 10 years.”
Having departed for France on the 17th for a photo shoot, Kim Tae-ri explored various spots in Cannes, showcasing her signature free-spirited and bubbly charm. She completely captured everyone’s attention with her powerful actress aura.
Cannes has held a special meaning for Kim Tae-ri since the start of her career. Back in 2016, she first stepped on the Cannes red carpet with her debut film, ‘The Handmaiden,’ directed by Park Chan-wook, which was invited to the competition section of the Cannes Film Festival.
Once a rookie, Kim Tae-ri has now grown into one of Korea’s representative actresses, making her return to Cannes a decade later.
Notably, director Park Chan-wook is serving as the Jury President of the Cannes Film Festival this year, becoming the first Korean filmmaker to do so. This has sparked curiosity about whether the two will have a reunion.
Meanwhile, Kim Tae-ri recently starred in the tvN variety show ‘After School Teacher Tae-ri,’ which wrapped up last month.
