Cha Hak-yeon is a Total 'Guilty Human' in 'Romance Absolute Value'!

Actor Cha Hak-yeon has emerged as the new “guilty human” (a term for someone dangerously charming)!

In the Coupang Play series ‘Romance Absolute Value,’ released on the 1st, we see Ga Woo-soo (Cha Hak-yeon) refusing to participate in a documentary filming for the Murim Girls’ High School revival project.

It turns out Ga Woo-soo has camera trauma caused by stalking after appearing on a TV show as a child. Unaware of this, Yeo Ui-ju (Kim Hyang-gi) films him secretly under No Da-ju’s (Kim Jae-hyun) orders, leaving Ga Woo-soo deeply disappointed in her.

To make matters worse, the principal pressures Ga Woo-soo to film, using the threat of Yoon Dong-ju’s (Kim Dong-gyu) suspension. Ultimately, he pushes through his trauma and follows the principal’s orders just to protect Yoon Dong-ju.

Later, when Yeo Ui-ju comes to apologize and suddenly collapses, Ga Woo-soo doesn’t hesitate for a second to carry her to the emergency room. The sight of the usually cold Ga Woo-soo holding her hand and comforting her with such sweetness has left viewers smiling.

From showing the courage to face his trauma for a colleague to expressing sincere worry for his student, Cha Hak-yeon has truly heightened the show’s immersion. By peeling back the layers of his cold exterior to reveal a thoughtful heart, he has brought a wonderful depth to the character. All eyes are on Cha Hak-yeon for his stable acting that anchors every episode.

‘Romance Absolute Value’ premieres every Friday at 8 PM on Coupang Play.
