Chae Won-bin shared a sweet story about a friend who is a massive fan of Running Man.
During the May 10th episode of SBS ‘Running Man’, actor Chae Won-bin confessed that he grew up as a “Running Man kid.”
He caught everyone’s attention by revealing that his “one pick” member is Ji Suk-jin. In response, Ji Suk-jin gave him some warm words of encouragement, saying, “You’ll do great in the future and become even more successful.”
However, Yoo Hee-kwan pointed out, “But he didn’t seem to recognize me in the waiting room.” Ji Suk-jin quickly defended him, joking, “Don’t feel bad. I don’t recognize almost anyone.”
Ji Suk-jin then tried to recall Chae Won-bin’s work, saying, “But I do know. Didn’t you appear with Han Suk-kyu in… something… very kind…” Yoo Jae-suk jumped in with a joke, mentioning “Sympathy for Lady Vengeance,” which left everyone in laughter.
Since it was his first time on the show, Chae Won-bin shyly introduced himself to the members.
He then cautiously opened up, saying, “There is actually something I really wanted to say since I finally got to appear on Running Man.”
He explained, “I have a long-time friend who has been a die-hard fan of Running Man since the very beginning. She rarely goes out on Sundays just to watch the show. She even told me when I started acting to work hard so that I could eventually appear on Running Man.”
When the members asked for the name of this loyal fan, Chae Won-bin brightly revealed, “It’s Jung Chae-yeon. Chae-yeon!”
