SBS’s new Friday-Saturday drama ‘Chief Kim’ (written by Nam Dae-jung and directed by Lee Seung-young and Lee So-eun) has released the first still cuts of Seong Han-su (Choi Dae-hoon), who has transformed from a former Taekwondo star into a friendly neighborhood master for local kids. Choi Dae-hoon plays Seong Han-su, a character with a double life as a Taekwondo gym director, a former gold medalist, and a secret agent.
The released stills capture Seong Han-su’s current life teaching children in a white Taekwondo gym, alongside a photo of his glory days as a gold medalist. He is seen kindly correcting the postures of his young students, showing his warm side as a neighborhood master. Meanwhile, the photo from his past shows him celebrating his gold medal victory with the Korean flag, hinting at a brilliant time in his life.

Choi Dae-hoon wittily described Seong Han-su as “sharp, prickly, and fluffy,” raising expectations for the character. He added, “Since everyone has worked hard and pushed forward for this moment, I will wait for you with anticipation rather than worry or fear. Please show ‘Chief Kim’ lots of love and interest.”
‘Chief Kim’ is a “Dad Universe” revenge action drama that follows an ordinary father who willingly becomes the most dangerous person in the world to save his kidnapped daughter. It premieres next month on the 26th at 9:50 PM.
