Former KBS announcer Choi Dong-seok recently shared some precious moments spent with his children.
On May 10, Choi took to social media, writing, “The kids are busy with various little schedules even on the weekend.”
He added, “I wanted to surprise them with a cake for Parents’ Day, but my son said he couldn’t go buy the cake by himself… Let’s eat some meat, recharge, and work hard through another week.”
The post also included photos of the children writing heartfelt letters telling their dad they love him.
While Park Ji-yoon holds custody and parental rights following their divorce, Choi Dong-seok continues to spend time with his children through visitation rights.
For some context, Choi Dong-seok and Park Ji-yoon were colleagues from the 30th class of KBS announcers. They married in 2009 and have a son and a daughter, but their marriage ended in 2023. Recently, it has been reported that Choi is under police investigation for allegedly spreading online rumors about Park Ji-yoon during their divorce proceedings.
In response, Choi’s side stated, “We have not received any official notification regarding this matter,” clarifying that they were “only contacted for a witness investigation.” They further claimed that an acquaintance of Park Ji-yoon posted defamatory content targeting Choi, leading him to be investigated as the complainant.
