Creator Choi Go-gi, who recently appeared on ‘X’s Private Life’ to share his life after divorce and introduce his girlfriend, spoke about premarital pregnancy.
On the 10th, a video titled “Behind the Scenes of the Broadcast” was uploaded to the YouTube channel ‘Choi Go-gi’s Parenting Channel’.
In the video, Choi Go-gi opened up, saying, “I was just about to visit Ju-eun’s parents to ask for their permission to marry when I received a casting offer for ‘X’s Private Life’. At first, I didn’t want to appear because I felt like I was just stirring up trouble.”
Lee Ju-eun added, “We had been dating for a long time and were preparing to meet my parents. That’s when the offer came in.” She explained that she was worried about Sol-ip and the fact that they weren’t married yet, but after consulting her mother, she decided to appear because Choi Go-gi’s work is in broadcasting.
Recalling the formal meeting between the families, Lee Ju-eun said, “My dad doesn’t really watch YouTube or TV, so he didn’t know who he was and talked to him without any prejudice. My dad was like a huge mountain to climb, but he gave him the green light after meeting him.”
Regarding that moment, Choi Go-gi recalled, “The atmosphere was great for about 30 minutes. But then I said, ‘Father, there is something I need to tell you. I have a daughter.'” He shared that the mood froze and the meeting ended on a tense note.
Lee Ju-eun added, “After hearing that, my dad was flustered, shocked, and even angry. But he wasn’t angry at him; instead, he actually comforted him.” Choi Go-gi visited Lee Ju-eun’s parents again the next day and received their permission after promising, “I will make Ju-eun and my daughter Sol-ip the happiest people in the world.”
Meanwhile, Choi Go-gi married YouTuber Yu Kkaetnip in 2016 but divorced in 2020. Recently, the two appeared on ‘X’s Private Life’ to reveal their respective partners.
