Eugene, the son of former Miss Korea Kang Joo-eun, has stepped up to help his mom with some design work!
On the 13th, a video titled “The first male intern of the Kang Joo-eun team appears! Why the total renewal?!” was uploaded to Kang Joo-eun’s YouTube channel.
Kang Joo-eun shared that she is currently refreshing several things, including her YouTube channel banner. She had previously expressed her disappointment with the orange banner to the production team. In response, her son Eugene began designing a pink banner for her. Kang Joo-eun said, “I don’t think orange is the right color for me, so it was bothering me. But Eugene is working on it now. I’ll show you the new banner soon.” Eugene, who appeared on the channel after completing his military service in February last year, previously revealed that his goal is to join Disney while attending a 3D online school.

Visiting Eugene in his studio, Kang Joo-eun introduced him, saying, “Eugene has taken over most of the work for our YouTube channel banner. Our team has kindly given him the title of honorary design intern. Welcome, honorary intern designer!”
When asked why he decided to handle the banner, Eugene explained, “My mother doesn’t like orange. I think pink would suit her better.” Kang Joo-eun added, “Eugene knows I love pink. He heard me mentioning it a few times and showed me some sketches, saying he could try it. So I told him to go for it.” When asked how long the first draft took, Eugene replied, “I think it took two days,” and revealed a flashy first design that immediately impressed the production staff.
After a few more attempts, a third draft was created. Kang Joo-eun asked for the production team’s opinion, and they provided objective feedback, noting that “there seem to be too many elements,” and worked with Eugene to make final revisions.
