Choi Yeon-soo Clears Up Rumors About Her Baby’s Birth: “It Was an Urgent Delivery”

Choi Yeon-soo Clears Up Rumors About Her Baby's Birth:

Influencer Choi Yeon-soo, the daughter of chef Choi Hyun-seok and wife of DickPunks member Kim Tae-hyun, recently opened up about her premature birth.

On May 10, Choi Yeon-soo shared a comment from a netizen on social media that read, “Wow, babies are born in the 2kg range these days.”

The netizen questioned if babies are typically “forced out” between 32 and 35 weeks, comparing the situation to their own experience with a full-term natural birth.

Choi Yeon-soo clarified, “No. That is not the case for everyone. I was hospitalized as a high-risk mother with blood pressure high enough to potentially cause preeclampsia. I also had low amniotic fluid due to the hypertension.”

She further explained, “I had to give birth urgently. My original due date was June 1st.”

Choi Yeon-soo married Kim Tae-hyun last September, overcoming a 12-year age gap. While she previously caused concern by announcing she would give birth a month early due to pregnancy-induced hypertension, she fortunately welcomed a healthy son.

Choi Yeon-soo debuted through the 26th Supermodel Contest in 2017 and gained popularity through Mnet’s ‘Produce 48’. She has also been active as an actress in projects like ‘Your MBTI is Visible’ and ‘Don’t Lie, Rahee’.
