Comedian Yoon Taek Spreads Love: Repairs Dilapidated Home for Elderly Resident and Makes Heartwarming Donations

Comedian Yoon Taek is bringing warmth and inspiration to everyone with his kind deeds for neighbors in need.

On the 16th, Yoon Taek shared a video on his channel ‘Yoon Taek TV’ showing his volunteer work repairing a dilapidated house on Wolho-do island in Yeosu, South Jeolla Province. This project was planned by Yoon Taek himself, who gathered a team of 30 skilled volunteers from across the country, including experts in wallpapering, carpentry, and floor heating.

The home Yoon Taek visited was in severe condition, with a ceiling that was nearly collapsing. The living area was freezing and covered in mold, while unused rooms were left like warehouses and the bathroom was dark and unhygienic. The elderly resident tearfully shared that after her husband passed away, she lost her eldest son, and she has lost contact with her youngest son. Yoon Taek offered deep comfort and expressed his sadness over her situation.

The volunteer team jumped into action to renovate the home. Yoon Taek and the volunteers handled everything from wallpapering and flooring to fixing the bathroom, yard, and outdated electrical and gas systems. They even flattened the thresholds and hallways so the resident could move around more easily with a walker. To top it off, Yoon Taek donated 1 million won each to the village head and the women’s association for community development, and gave the elderly resident 1 million won in pocket money.

Netizens reacted with praise, saying, “I happened to see this through the algorithm, and I’m so grateful he’s doing such wonderful work,” and “I support those who practice such a positive influence.”
