Expressing the explosive energy of their new song “TNT”!
Cortis (Martin, James, Juhoon, Sunghyun, Gunho) uploaded a conceptual performance film for “TNT,” a track from their second mini album ‘GREENGREEN’, to the HYBE Labels YouTube channel on May 5 at 9 PM. Following the main music video released the previous day, where the members were chased by hundreds of people, this video shows them performing the “TNT” choreography inside a tunnel they reached while escaping.
Starting exactly where the music video ends, the film maximizes tension with a dark black-and-white screen and an endless tunnel. Cortis’s synchronized dance in this space radiates dynamic energy through a gritty visual style. The shaky camera and bold angles, rotating up, down, or 180 degrees, perfectly complement the raw vibe of the song.
The climax arrives when the members merge with the crowd. A massive group of people suddenly appears in the tunnel, cheering and dancing along to the music. Under the flashing lights, everyone jumps and enjoys the moment in a state of pure ecstasy.
“TNT” is a song that celebrates the team’s explosive passion and confidence in their music, with its title inspired by the explosive chemical. It features an impressive, addictive melody layered over strong guitar riffs and a heavy bass. The members were actively involved not only in the choreography and music video but also in the music production itself.
Cortis released their second mini album ‘GREENGREEN’ on May 4. They are set to perform their new song on KBS2 ‘Music Bank’ on the 8th, MBC ‘Show! Music Core’ on the 9th, and SBS ‘Inkigayo’ on the 10th. Additionally, they will take the stage at university festivals at Dankook University’s Jukjeon Campus on the 13th and Hongik University’s Seoul Campus on the 14th.
