CORTIS Shares Sweet Moment with Gold Medalists Choi Ga-on and Kim Gil-ri:

Group CORTIS has revealed their special connection with gold medalists Choi Ga-on and Kim Gil-ri.

On the May 5th broadcast of MBC FM4U’s ‘Kim Shin-young’s Noon Song of Hope’, CORTIS (Martin, James, Juhoon, Sunghyun, and Gunho) made an appearance.

This marked the group’s first radio visit since their comeback. The members explained the meanings of ‘RED’ and ‘GREEN’ in their album, stating, “We included songs that reflect our daily lives and existence, and we worked on them while imagining the stage.”

When DJ Kim Shin-young mentioned that they achieved million-seller status on the first day of release, the members were shocked, saying, “This is the first time we’ve heard this. We didn’t know it was this much on the first day.” They expressed their happiness, adding, “It’s an honor and we are so grateful.”

The group also talked about their celebratory performance at the luncheon for the ’25th Milano Cortina d’Ampezzo Winter Olympics’ delegation held at the Blue House last February. Previously, gold medalists Choi Ga-on and Kim Gil-ri had gone viral for revealing they are fans of CORTIS.

The members, who even filmed challenges with the two athletes, recalled, “We were so grateful to hear that the athletes were training hard while listening to our music.” They also shared the atmosphere of the event, saying, “We were invited to the luncheon to perform, and Kim Gil-ri and Choi Ga-on enjoyed it so much. The short track national team athletes really liked us. They hugged us, and all the athletes ran toward us.”

Following the chat, CORTIS caught everyone’s attention with a live performance of ‘REDRED’.

Meanwhile, CORTIS is currently promoting their second mini album ‘GREENGREEN’, which was released on the 4th.
