Son Dan, the daughter of couple Son Min-su and Lim Lala, burst into tears when the flow of her first baby food was interrupted.
In the May 13 episode of KBS 2TV’s ‘The Return of Superman’, comedian couple Son Min-su and Lim Lala visited their 96-year-old great-grandmother with their twins, Kang-i and Dan-i.
At the grandmother’s house, Lim Lala attempted the first baby food for the 183-day-old twins. Lim Lala expressed her nerves, saying, “It’s their first baby food, so it can’t fail,” while Ralral empathized, “I was so nervous at first. I wondered if they’d eat it or spit it out since they’ve only had formula.”
Lim Lala prepared rice porridge. When Kang-i smiled after tasting it, Ralral was amazed, saying, “My heart is fluttering! Seobin spat it out immediately because the texture felt strange, but he’s smiling as soon as he’s fed. So cute!”
While Lim Lala fed Kang-i, her mother and grandmother took care of Dan-i. Known as a “mukbang fairy” in the top 5% for weight, Dan-i initially spat out a bit of the food but then seemed to like the taste. However, she burst into tears the moment her grandmother wiped the food from her mouth.
The reason for the tears? The flow of the food had stopped! Lim Lala hugged her daughter, explaining, “Kids who eat well usually get annoyed when there’s a delay.” Ralral shared the struggle of raising a mukbang fairy, adding, “Seobin was like that too. You have to feed them quickly without any breaks.”
