On the 14th, the YouTube channel “Hello I’m Woni Please Take Care of Me” shared photos of RESCENE’s Woni and Minami arriving in Geoje, captioned, “Finally went to Geoje with Gyaru yesterday.” The photos show Woni in a black tracksuit and Minami rocking a “Gyaru” concept as they explore various spots in Geoje, including a shot of the two jumping into the sea!
This Geoje visit is a follow-up to the “Gyaru episode” on the channel, which became a massive hit. In that episode, Woni and fellow Japanese member Minami appeared in Gyaru makeup, with Minami’s confident Gyaru attitude becoming a huge talking point among fans.
Following the Gyaru episode, the channel hit another home run with the “Tried using only dialect all day” video. Fans loved the rustic and bold dialects of Woni (from Geoje) and Jenna (from Gyeongju), along with their natural variety skills. Thanks to the YouTube algorithm, the channel has recently surpassed 100,000 subscribers!
To celebrate the milestone, channel owner Woni, “Gyaru ghost” Minami, and “Silla Princess” Jenna held a Q&A where they mentioned the possibility of visiting Geoje. They made it happen on the 13th, promising even more hilarious content. This also brings Woni one step closer to her goal of holding a fan signing event in Geoje, which she mentioned in an interview with Ilgan Sports earlier this year.
