Director Jang Hang-jun has won the ‘Gucci Impact Award’!
At the 62nd Baeksang Arts Awards held on the 8th, Jang Hang-jun became the recipient of the Gucci Impact Award for the movie ‘The Man Living with the King’. ‘The Man Living with the King’ is a massive hit that successfully surpassed 10 million viewers.
Taking the stage, Jang Hang-jun opened his speech by saying, “I was disappointed not to win the Best Director award, but thank you for giving me such a big award.” He then wittily added, “I promise to only buy Gucci from now on,” which drew bursts of laughter from the crowd.
He also expressed his gratitude to the cast, saying, “Thank you to actors Park Ji-hoon, Yoo Ji-tae, and Jeon Mi-do for their amazing performances,” and added, “My sincere thanks to Yoo Hae-jin, who is my best friend and the best actor.”
Finally, Jang Hang-jun showed his affection by stating, “I dedicate this award to my eternal partner, Kim Eun-hee.”
