Director Ko Seung-hyun's 'Spending the Same Season' Wins Two Awards at Jeonju International Film Festival!
Director Ko Seung-hyun's feature debut 'Spending the Same Season' became a double winner, taking home both the CGV Award and the Best Actor Award at the 27th Jeonju International Film Festival.

In his acceptance speech, Director Ko Seung-hyun shared, “I am grateful to my colleagues who stayed with me and took the risks over the long period of four seasons.” He added, “Although I didn’t major in film, I was able to gain education and field experience through regional film projects, and I’m thrilled that this award proves the value of that journey.”

He further noted, “The Wonju Academy Theater, with its 63-year history and the place I most wanted to screen my work, has been demolished, and Wonju’s only CGV has also disappeared.” He concluded, “While the Korean film market is facing a tough time, creative work is still steadily happening in regional areas. I hope all filmmakers can find strength together.”
