Even Jung Ji-sun is Nervous! Cold Evaluations Leave Chefs Sweating on 'Chef's Open Run'

In the episode of Channel A’s ‘Chef’s Open Run’ airing on the 10th, the chef squad’s challenge to open a Korean pub will be revealed, with Chinese cuisine chefs Jung Ji-sun and Lee Moon-jung joining the team.

The chefs visit a Korean pub in the Bangi-dong food alley in Jamsil, Seoul, to support the business. In particular, the appearance of “Chinese Cuisine Queen” Jung Ji-sun and “Chinese Cuisine Witch” Lee Moon-jung as new members, along with Chef Jang Ho-jun, promises even stronger chemistry.

However, as they begin preparations, the chefs face an unexpected hurdle: a massive amount of vegetable prep. With a volume of ingredients that looks like a small field was moved inside, the chefs even bring out their own personal knives to start chopping.

Jung Ji-sun and Jang Ho-jun engage in a tense competition over the “pajeon dipping sauce.” Attention is focused on whether the owner will choose Jung Ji-sun’s red sauce or Jang Ho-jun’s green sauce.

But something else makes the chefs even more nervous: the arrival of a tasting panel of “true alcohol lovers” to evaluate the ambitiously developed menu. The panel freezes the atmosphere by warning, “No matter how great a chef you are, you can’t fool my taste buds,” promising a cold evaluation.

The tasting results that left even Jung Ji-sun and Lee Moon-jung nervous will be revealed in ‘Chef’s Open Run’ airing on the 10th at 10:30 AM.
