[Exclusive] Did ‘Problem Child in House’ Panic Over Yang Sang-guk’s Controversy? Preview Video Suddenly Deleted, KBS Claims “Upload Mistake”

KBS2’s variety show ‘Problem Child in House’ recently released a preview featuring comedian Yang Sang-guk, who has been caught up in a controversy over his recent remarks, only to quickly set it to private.

On the 13th, ‘Problem Child in House’ posted a preview titled “Gyeongsang-do siblings’ adaptation to a Seoul rooftop room, BIBI and Yang Sang-guk,” but the video has since been deleted.

In the clip, Yang Sang-guk opened up about the situation after Joo Woo-jae noted that “the buzz is big and the controversy is big.” Yang explained, “I’m actually very introverted, but I acted exaggeratedly because of my greed for screen time.”

The controversy began on the web variety show ‘Pinggyego’ while Yang Sang-guk was listening to Nam Chang-hee’s honeymoon stories. He remarked, “Seoul men are good at those things. Gyeongsang-do men like us don’t even take them. I think it’s better not to do it unless you’re going to do it for the rest of your life.”

He faced further backlash on tvN’s ‘Amazing Saturday’ for his behavior during a skit with Kim Hae-jun, where he performed a roundhouse kick and acted as if he were going to hit someone.

In a phone call with Ilgan Sports on the 12th, Yang Sang-guk apologized, stating, “I am originally a very introverted person. My real self is different from the image seen on broadcast. I think I acted excessively due to a desire for screen time, and in that process, my actions went astray. I am sorry that the controversy has arisen.”
