Actress Sunwoo Yong-nyeo has received a facial procedure for the first time in her life at the age of 82.
Appearing on the YouTube channel ‘Shin Yeoseong’ on the 5th, Sunwoo Yong-nyeo shared the story behind her recent eye procedure. She explained, “I went to the ophthalmologist because my eyes felt heavy, and they told me it was because of fat under the eyelids. I had a laser procedure, and it was so painful.”
She continued, “I’ve never had plastic surgery or any procedures on my face in my entire life.” She added a funny anecdote: “Once, after fighting with my husband, I looked terrible the next morning because I had been frowning in my sleep. I realized I couldn’t let that happen, so now I always praise myself before bed, saying, ‘Yong-nyeo, you did a great job today.'”
She also shared her dietary rules, stating, “As you get older, outer appearances don’t matter. Your internal organs should be the ‘luxury’ items.” She added, “Fried foods should end in your 30s or 40s. Once you’re over 80, you can’t just put anything in your mouth. I eat plenty of fish and a small amount of tenderloin once a week.”
She also touched upon her eight years of living in the US and her return to Korea. “I lived my life buried in work, but one day my daughter asked, ‘Mom, why is the neighbor’s mom at home?'”
