Forestella (Bae Doo-hoon, Kang Hyung-ho, Cho Min-gyu, Ko Woo-rim) has reached a new personal best! Their fourth full-length album, ‘THE LEGACY’, released on the 23rd of last month, recorded a total of 25,063 copies in first-week sales.
The momentum doesn’t stop there! The title track ‘Armageddon’ climbed to 9th place on MBC’s music program ‘Show! Music Core’ on the 2nd. After returning with a full album for the first time in about five years, Forestella’s powerful popularity is clearly on display through these consecutive achievements.
‘THE LEGACY’ is an album that encapsulates Forestella’s history over the past eight years. Through this work, they prove their journey so far while opening the prologue to a new chapter, showcasing their ongoing musical evolution as leaders of K-crossover.
The title track ‘Armageddon’ begins with an operatic narrative before exploding with unstoppable rock energy. Forestella’s powerful vocals and harmonies lead the grand sound, completely dominating the listener’s ears.
Celebrating their 8th anniversary this year, Forestella is meeting fans through a variety of active projects to commemorate their 4th album. They successfully kicked off their tour concert ‘THE LEGACY: SYMPHONY’ in Ilsan last month and will continue the tour in Seoul on May 9 and 10, Incheon on June 6 and 7, and Busan on July 4 and 5. Additionally, they successfully wrapped up ‘Fragments of Legacy’, a gallery pop-up exhibition that expanded the 12 songs of the album into visual art.
The Seoul performance of Forestella’s 4th album tour concert ‘THE LEGACY: SYMPHONY’ will take place on the 9th and 10th at 6 PM at Jangchung Gymnasium.
