Former Jewelry member Ha Ju-yeon has caught everyone’s attention by revealing that she once applied for the dating show ‘I am Solo’.
On May 15, a video titled “A day in the life of Jewelry’s Ha Ju-yeon, who went from a 2nd gen idol to a Seoul Forest office worker” was uploaded to the YouTube channel ‘Annyeong-hasemyo’. In the clip, Ha Ju-yeon grabbed viewers’ attention by sharing that she had applied for ENA and SBS PLUS’s ‘I am Solo’.
Ha Ju-yeon shared a glimpse of her current life as an office worker rather than a celebrity, stating, “I am working as a manager at a store that sells French tableware.”
When asked what she does while eating alone, she replied, “I watch ‘I am Solo’,” and surprised the production team by adding, “Didn’t I apply for ‘I am Solo’?” She then confessed, “I sent an email, but they didn’t pick me. Song Hae-na said it was a no.”
Following this, Ha Ju-yeon had a phone call with Seo In-young, her former Jewelry teammate. Seo In-young has recently been loved for showing her honest charms through her YouTube channel ‘Gaegwa-cheonseon Seo In-young’.
As soon as she answered the phone, Seo In-young showed her affection, saying, “My beloved Ju-yeon is living so diligently these days. I’m so proud of her.”
As a ‘dol-sing’ (divorcee), Seo In-young gave some blunt advice, asking, “Why aren’t you getting married? Do it even if you’ve been married before. Being a divorcee is nothing to be ashamed of.”
She continued, “If you save it too much, it’ll go to waste. Just think of the one condition you want most. I’ll look around for you. You know I have a boyfriend,” mentioning her own relationship once again.
Meanwhile, Ha Ju-yeon, born in 1986, joined Jewelry as a 3rd generation member in 2008. After Jewelry’s activities ended, she became a hot topic for sharing her life as a corporate employee.
Recently, after a period of unemployment, Ha Ju-yeon announced her re-employment via her personal YouTube channel, saying, “I’m back at the company I worked at for three years.”
