The updated looks of the “flower boy stars” who once dominated the scene are currently stealing the spotlight.
Nickhun recently caught everyone’s eye by appearing in 2PM’s own content with a noticeably fuller visual. Since he hasn’t been very active in Korea lately, his changed appearance became a huge talking point.
Known as the “Thai Prince” since his debut, Nickhun’s stunning looks played a big part in boosting 2PM’s popularity. His recent softer, more relaxed vibe left fans quite surprised.

But was it just the camera angle or the lack of makeup?
2PM held a concert at the Tokyo Dome on September 9 and 10 to celebrate their 15th anniversary of their Japanese debut. In backstage photos shared via 2PM’s official Japanese account, Nickhun regained the “flower boy” visuals we all remember, wowing fans with his sharp features and clear-cut look.
Meanwhile, Shinhwa’s Eric drew attention for his changed aura at Lee Min-woo’s wedding last March. Eric attended the wedding with his wife, Na Hye-mi, while holding a child in his arms.

Carrying a child in one arm, he looked less like a celebrity and more like “Dad” Eric in his natural element.
In particular, he caught attention for looking a bit fuller than during his peak active days, radiating a comfortable vibe. Some fans reacted by saying, “You can really feel the relaxed energy of a father of two.”
When it comes to the “icon of negative change,” Noh Yu-min was the original. Once called a representative flower boy idol of the first generation, he became known for a friendly “uncle” image after marriage due to a perceived lack of self-care.

However, Noh Yu-min has been putting in the work for several years, focusing on his appearance through consistent dieting and various procedures, including under-eye fat repositioning and hair transplants.
Having served as a beauty brand model for over 10 years, he shared his secret to maintaining his looks in an exclusive interview last September, saying, “I didn’t pay much attention after getting married. Couples find happiness in eating, drinking, and enjoying late-night snacks together. I gained a lot of weight while enjoying that happiness, and that’s when the beauty brand appeared like a savior.”
