The upcoming episode of MBC’s ‘Radio Star’ airing on the 13th will feature a special titled ‘Teacher’s Day Passionate Priests,’ starring Seo Kyung-suk, Choi Tae-sung, Kim Sung-eun, and Hwang Min-ho.
During a recent recording, Seo Kyung-suk opened up about his journey of taking the Korean History Proficiency Test following his real estate agent exam. He revealed that he studied by repeatedly watching lectures by the ‘God of Korean History,’ Choi Tae-sung. He also explained how he started his own history lectures, summarizing key points in his own style. His quick concept-summary videos became a hit, earning him the nickname ‘Big Nose Teacher,’ following Choi Tae-sung’s ‘Big Star Teacher.’
He also shared how he became a ‘rookie teacher.’ He began donating his talents by teaching history to seniors at a welfare center. Noting that seniors often forgot explanations shortly after hearing them, he started uploading lecture videos to YouTube for them, which eventually led to his online Korean history lectures.
Additionally, he touched upon his realistic relationship with his adolescent daughter, jokingly saying, “These days, if I say the wrong thing, it’s practically like the Imjin War or the Byeongja Horan.” He will also reveal the episode of how he started studying idols just to communicate with her.
To keep the conversation going with his 8th-grade daughter, Seo Kyung-suk began studying ZEROBASEONE. He confessed that he not only joined the fan club but even attended their concerts. He’ll dive into his ‘fan life’ talk, sharing his experience attending three concerts and revealing his favorite member.
Seo Kyung-suk will also share his impressive life story, from graduating top of the Military Academy to attending Seoul National University’s French Department and winning the Gold Prize at the MBC Comedy Contest.
