Actress Park Ji-hyun is set to showcase her unexpected charms in the movie ‘Wild Thing’.
Newly released stills capture the striking contrast between Domi’s daily life as a chaebol daughter-in-law after retirement and the awakening of her true self after 20 years, immediately grabbing attention.
First, Domi is spotted in a luxury car, exuding an untouchable aura with a sophisticated tweed jacket and dark sunglasses. Her indifferent gaze out the window highlights her current status and unrivaled elegance. However, the following stills show a complete 180-degree turn. Posing with a finger gun to her head against a backdrop of a reed field, she looks like she’s venting her frustrations in a rapid-fire burst, bringing a laugh to viewers. This is the moment her “Girl Crush” instincts from her Triangle days, which she had kept hidden behind an elegant mask, finally emerge, raising expectations for Domi’s unpredictable role.

Playing Domi, the powerhouse of Triangle who once commanded the waiting room, Park Ji-hyun breathes life into the film with her confident energy and bold acting. Along with visual transformations like tanning and toned abs, she completed the “absolute center” and irresistibly charming character of Domi through a passionate performance where she wasn’t afraid to let go of her image. During the production briefing on May 7, Park Ji-hyun shared that she had a “thirst for comedy acting,” and she is now signaling the birth of a new “Comedy Queen” by playfully portraying both the elegance of a poised chaebol daughter-in-law and Domi’s inherent wild nature.
Meanwhile, ‘Wild Thing’ is a comedy movie about Triangle, a three-member co-ed dance group that once swept the music industry but disbanded overnight after being caught up in an unexpected incident, now making a reckless attempt to seize a chance for a comeback after 20 years. The film stars Gang Dong-won, Um Tae-goo, Park Ji-hyun, and Oh Jung-se, and is helmed by director Son Jae-gon, known for ‘Sweet & Sour’ and ‘Not Disturb’. It is set to be released on June 3.
