Go Kyung-pyo to Join New MBC Variety Show with Noh Hong-chul and Choi Kang-rok!

Actor Go Kyung-pyo has finally decided on his next project following the massive success of “Undercover Miss Hong.”

According to OSEN on the 11th, Go Kyung-pyo will be appearing in a new MBC variety show scheduled to air this June. He will be teaming up with entertainer Noh Hong-chul and chef Choi Kang-rok.

This marks his first move since the conclusion of tvN’s “Undercover Miss Hong” in March. In that series, Go Kyung-pyo delivered a great performance as Shin Jung-woo, with the show hitting a peak viewership rating of 13.1% (Nielsen Korea nationwide) when it ended on March 8.

While the title of the new MBC show is still undecided, it is reported to be a reality-style program rather than a cooking show. This is a huge milestone for Go Kyung-pyo, as it is his first time as a fixed cast member on an MBC variety show in 16 years since his debut!

Often called “Nature Man Go Kyung-pyo” for his relatable sightings at Han River swimming pools and on the subway, he is also known as a “meme king.” Fans are excited to see his raw and unfiltered charm on the new show. Since he shares a similar free-spirited vibe with Noh Hong-chul, who is famous for doing whatever he wants, their chemistry is highly anticipated.
