Former Rainbow member and actress Go Woori is officially becoming a “boy mom”!
Go Woori shared the exciting news about her baby’s gender through a video on her personal YouTube channel on the 7th.
Her former groupmate Hyun Young found out the gender first and hosted a special gender reveal party.
Go Woori admitted, “I didn’t think much about it before, but now that I think about the child I’ll be with for the rest of my life, I’m so nervous.” She added, “It doesn’t matter whether it’s a son or a daughter.”
Despite her words, she was wearing a pink top and holding pink balloons, indirectly hinting that she might have wanted a daughter, jokingly saying, “I guess the color just seeped out from deep in my heart.”
She also mentioned, “I had my husband wear blue clothes on purpose, just in case our child is a boy and watches this video later.”
When Hyun Young popped the confetti, blue papers poured out, confirming that it’s a boy!
Sharing her feelings about becoming a “boy mom,” Go Woori said, “My husband and I talked about how it might be easier if it’s a son, and since it really is a boy, I actually feel more relieved.”
Go Woori debuted in 2009 as a member of Rainbow. She married a businessman five years her senior in 2022 and recently received a wave of congratulations after announcing her pregnancy on MBC’s ‘Radio Star’ on the 1st.
