Jin Yi-han from ‘Groom Class 2’ is finally introducing his “some-girl” Jung Yi-ju to his celebrity best friend Hong Seok-cheon!
In the 8th episode of Channel A’s ‘Groom Class 2’, airing Thursday at 10 PM, we’ll get a glimpse of the thrilling(?) encounter between Jin Yi-han and Hong Seok-cheon right before his romantic “spring date” with Jung Yi-ju.
Jin Yi-han shared that he first met his close friend Hong Seok-cheon around age 28 while performing plays in Daehak-ro, and they are so close that they meet more than twice a week. Watching from the studio, “student” Lee Jung-jin joked, “Wait, is he going to make a ‘passionate confession’ to Seok-cheon hyung instead of Yi-ju?” leaving the set in stitches.
Soon after, Jin Yi-han meets Hong Seok-cheon at a cafe. He starts with a joke, “I heard a rumor that I’ve fallen out of the top 100 in your ‘jewelry box’.” Hong Seok-cheon fired back, “You were once #1, beating out Byeon Woo-seok and Ju Ji-hoon, but now you’re not even in the top 100, you’re below 200th. You’re out!” Hong Seok-cheon playfully complained about Jin Yi-han becoming distant because of his love life, adding, “I don’t usually praise women, but Jung Yi-ju is indeed pretty.” However, he made Jin Yi-han nervous by saying, “If I talk to her and don’t like her, I’ll say ‘I hate her’ right away. Just live alone forever and hang out with me!”
When Jung Yi-ju arrives at the cafe, Hong Seok-cheon shows off some “kkondae” vibes, asking, “So you’re the lady dating our ‘Hani’?” But Jung Yi-ju quickly flips the mood by giving him a gift that perfectly matches his taste. As Jin Yi-han and Jung Yi-ju start acting all lovey-dovey in front of him, Hong Seok-cheon jokingly gets jealous, shouting, “Acting cute right in front of your hyung!” which makes everyone burst into laughter.
