
Director Yeon Sang-ho’s new film ‘Gunche’, opening on the 21st, has released its IMAX poster.
‘Gunche’ tells the story of isolated survivors in a building locked down due to a mysterious infection, fighting against infected beings that evolve in unpredictable ways. The release of the IMAX poster has raised expectations for the overwhelming presence of a new species that will fill the screen.
The released poster immediately catches the eye with silhouettes of the infected reaching out as if longing for something against a backdrop of intense light. The sight of the infected forming a ‘Gunche’, connected by a mysterious mucus, sparks curiosity about the unprecedented situation they will cause.
The bizarre yet grand atmosphere throughout the poster leaves a strong impression and maximizes anticipation for the unique world of ‘Gunche’. The overwhelming scale and extreme suspense of ‘Gunche’ will be amplified through IMAX’s giant screen and grand sound, promising audiences the ultimate cinematic experience.
