Han Ga-in Stuns in Royal Hanbok at Gyeongbokgung Palace, Making Up for Her 'Moon Embracing the Sun' Role!

Actress Han Ga-in captured the attention of foreign tourists when she appeared at Gyeongbokgung Palace dressed in royal hanbok.

On the 14th, a video titled “Stunning beauty Han Ga-in appears at Gyeongbokgung Palace wearing royal hanbok she couldn’t wear due to low status in ‘Moon Embracing the Sun’, surprising reactions from foreigners” was released on the YouTube channel ‘Free Woman Han Ga-in’.

Han Ga-in visited Gyeongbokgung Palace wearing ‘Wonsam’, a royal ceremonial robe that is rarely seen these days. She filmed the content with Eunji, the operator of the hanbok YouTube channel ‘Yeougom Channel’, while learning how to wear the hanbok, traditional etiquette, and the best poses for photos.

Dressed in the luxurious royal hanbok with intricate embroidery, Han Ga-in admitted, “The clothes are so uncomfortable.” When the production team jokingly asked if she preferred the low status she had in ‘Moon Embracing the Sun’, she laughed and replied, “But low status is too cold! High status people don’t really go outside; they mostly stay in the palace, while those of low status have to be outside all the time. I definitely have to be high status!”

Han Ga-in also interacted with foreign tourists by sharing yakgwa (honey cookies) she had prepared and taking photos with them. Many foreign fans recognized her and were thrilled to see her in person.

Han Ga-in previously earned immense love for her role as Heo Yeon-woo in the 2012 MBC drama ‘Moon Embracing the Sun’.
