In the MBC show ‘Choi Woo Su San’ aired on the 17th, Mount Kumgang was revealed as the third hiking destination. The members were amazed by the breathtaking scenery of 12,000 peaks before starting their hike.
Boom kicked off the show with the happy news of his second daughter’s birth! He expressed his gratitude, saying, “Thank you, Samshin Halmoni,” and added, “She was born two days ago. She’s 2.75g,” which sparked laughter. Heo Kyung-hwan quickly corrected him, “Don’t you mean 2.75kg? Why are you saying grams?” while Yoo Se-yoon joked, “You gave birth to her like pure gold.” Yang Se-hyung joined in, teasing that the baby should appear on ‘Believe it or Not,’ leaving the set in laughter.
Since Boom hasn’t decided on a name yet, the members suggested mountain-related names like ‘Lee Woo Su’ and ‘Lee San.’ When the topic of English names came up, Yoo Se-yoon suggested ‘Lee Gram,’ causing another burst of laughter.
Boom continued bragging about his daughter, saying, “She’s so small and cute. She even has dimples like me.” When Heo Kyung-hwan asked if he immediately looks for similarities after a baby is born, Boom mimicked Heo Kyung-hwan’s signature dance steps and joked, “Try having a baby. They do this when they start walking.” Jang Dong-min added to the fun, imagining the baby saying, “Isn’t this exactly the taste!” after drinking milk.
Boom also shared that he visits his hometown in Gangwon-do whenever he rests and reminisced about visiting Mount Kumgang with his wife during their dating days. He expressed his deep affection for the mountain, describing it as “the Grand Canyon of Korea.”
At the first mission spot, Im Woo-il appeared to lead a ‘Bori Bori Ssal’ game. Im Woo-il didn’t hold back, hitting the heads of his seniors, and his gaze completely changed when it was Heo Kyung-hwan’s turn. Jang Dong-min fueled the fire, saying, “Seniors who are the same age are the most annoying to look at,” leaving the set in chaos.
During the hike, Yang Se-hyung mentioned, “I love Mount Kumgang so much. I want to come back alone next time,” to which Boom advised, “Come back with someone special if you find one.” Yang Se-hyung lamented, “I need to find that special person first,” and asked for blind date introductions for himself and Heo Kyung-hwan. Yoo Se-yoon responded, “I’ll check with my wife’s friends.”
The conversation shifted to ideal types. Heo Kyung-hwan shared, “Since I’m short, I’d like someone who isn’t too short,” and added, “Someone who lies a lot is a definite no.” He revealed a past experience, saying, “I once had a girlfriend who said she was going home, but I couldn’t reach her. It turned out she was out partying. We broke up immediately.”
At the end of the show, the members mischievously asked Heo Kyung-hwan in front of a wishing tower, “If the ‘Hangout with Yoo’ table and the ‘Choi Woo Su San’ table are both there at the year-end awards, where would you sit?” While he initially replied, “I’ll hang out there and then go over there,” he eventually declared, “If ‘Choi Woo Su San’ survives until the end of the year, I’ll really sit here!” after being teased by the others.
