In the MBC show ‘Sora and Jin-kyung’ aired on the 17th, Lee Sora and Hong Jin-kyung were finally shown taking an audition.
While visiting Paris, Hong Jin-kyung reminisced about her past, saying, “Haven’t you dated in Paris? I came here with a man I met back when I was working. We stayed together and just hopped on any train at the station. I remember getting off wherever I felt like it.”
Lee Sora accidentally mentioned, “When you married your husband,” and quickly stopped herself. After Hong Jin-kyung told her it was okay, Lee Sora carefully added, “You married an amazing person; your husband is so handsome.”
Speaking about her ex-husband, Hong Jin-kyung shared, “He’s a really good person. Now, he’s a completely great friend. A very good friend on a human level.”
She calmly added, “Even after the split, there’s a regular naengmyeon restaurant we used to visit. The three of us go there to eat with Lael. We’re perfectly fine with it, but the staff get quite flustered, saying, ‘Oh, the three of you came together?'”
However, Hong Jin-kyung revealed a vulnerable moment, saying, “But last Chuseok, while I was home alone, reality hit me. I thought, ‘It’s really over.’ I called my mother-in-law to check in, and the tears just wouldn’t stop. I sobbed for the first time.”
She expressed her gratitude, adding, “My mother-in-law comforted me then. She told me it’s okay and that these things happen in life. She said, ‘You’ll live well. Since you’re Lael’s mother, you need to find more strength and be strong.’ She was the one who comforted and encouraged me.”
