Hong Jin-kyung’s Look-Alike Daughter Lael Calls Her Mom’s Unique Face “Charming”!

Entertainer Hong Jin-kyung is showing off some playful mother-daughter chemistry with her daughter, Lael.

In the MBC TV variety show “Sora and Jin-kyung,” airing on the 17th at 9:10 PM, Lee Sora and Hong Jin-kyung are seen feeling nervous ahead of a meeting with a local agency in Paris.

Before heading out, Hong Jin-kyung calls her daughter Lael back in Korea to ask for some encouragement.

Having had a fight with Lael the previous day, Hong Jin-kyung says, “Thank you for answering the phone even though we fought,” to which Lael sweetly replies, “Because you’re my mom!”

The heartwarming mood is short-lived, however. While sharing her emotions about revisiting the agency she worked with 30 years ago, Hong Jin-kyung asks, “Do you think Mom has a chance?”

Lael answers “No” without a second thought, leaving Hong Jin-kyung flustered. But she quickly adds, “You’re thin, have short hair, and your face is unique, so it’s charming,” cheering her mom on.

Feeling relaxed after Lael’s words, Hong Jin-kyung heads to the agency with Lee Sora. The two are taking on a local audition to challenge themselves at Paris Fashion Week.
