Director Hong Sang-soo and actress Kim Min-hee have been spotted recently! Interest is peaking once again as the couple was seen together while parenting their newborn son.
On the 24th, Xports News reported that Hong Sang-soo and Kim Min-hee enjoyed a weekend outing with their son near Misa in Hanam, Gyeonggi Province. In the released photos, Director Hong is seen pushing the stroller while wearing sunglasses, with Kim Min-hee following closely behind while wearing a hat.
The report described the atmosphere, stating that Director Hong kept a watchful eye on their surroundings while pushing the stroller, as Kim Min-hee walked behind him.
It was previously known that Kim Min-hee recently gave birth to a son. The two first met through the 2015 film “Right Now, Wrong Then” and eventually became a couple. Director Hong officially acknowledged their relationship during a press conference back in 2017.
Meanwhile, Hong Sang-soo’s latest film, “What Does Nature Say to You,” was recently released in Korea. The movie gained international attention after being invited to the 75th Berlin International Film Festival, and Kim Min-hee reportedly participated as the production manager.
Kim Min-hee has continued to be a true cinematic partner, assisting with production, on-site management, and overseas film festival schedules for Hong’s works. The two have also been spotted together several times at the Cannes Film Festival.
On a separate note, Director Hong Sang-soo remains legally married. Although he previously filed for divorce, the court dismissed the case in 2019. Despite this, he continues his public relationship with Kim Min-hee.
