Director Na Hong-jin is back to announce another intense and immersive world!
The international trailer for Director Na Hong-jin’s new film ‘HOPE’, which has been invited to the competition section of the 79th Cannes Film Festival, was released on the 18th.

In the trailer, we see Hopohang, a village under attack by an unknown force. Seong-ae (played by Jung Ho-yeon) appears from a patrol car stopped in the middle of the road, while Beom-seok (played by Hwang Jung-min) faces a shocking sight in front of a heavily damaged store.
The international trailer for ‘HOPE’ captures the desperate struggle of Beom-seok, the head of the Hopohang branch office, village youth Seong-gi (played by Jo In-sung), police officer Seong-ae, and other residents as they confront the entity that attacked their village to protect their home.
This trailer radiates intense energy with its unpredictable rhythm and speed. It features uniquely angled car chases, fierce gunfights, chases through the forest, and concludes with a thrilling horse action scene as characters try to escape alien attacks.
The alien characters in ‘HOPE’ are brought to life by Michael Fassbender, Alicia Vikander, Taylor Russell, and Cameron Britton. These roles were completed using motion capture and facial capture technology to perfectly project the actors’ emotions and movements.
‘HOPE’ is set to hit theaters this summer!
