Singer Hwasa revealed that she suffered burns due to water spilling from a heating humidifier.
On the 14th, Kang Min-kyung met with Hwasa on her YouTube channel ‘Kyang Min-kyung’ to talk about the injury.
Kang Min-kyung shared that they first connected when Hwasa appeared as a guest at a Davichi concert. She expressed her deep admiration, saying, “I know there was an injury at the time, and I was beyond moved that she performed so coolly despite it.”
When Kang Min-kyung asked if the injury had recovered, Hwasa replied, “Fortunately, it’s all healed now.”
Hwasa then explained how the accident happened. “I spilled a heating humidifier, and the water must have been over 100 degrees. I was naked at the time. Luckily, it didn’t spill all over my body; it spilled on the floor, and I stepped on the water while trying to avoid it,” she explained.
When asked how she managed to perform right after the burn, Hwasa said, “I did it with bandages. It was possible. So on that day, I kept hypnotizing myself to ‘ride the ritual knife’.”
