The controversy surrounding “I Am Solo” Season 31 is reaching a boiling point, and now Kyungsoo’s business is suffering from so-called “star rating terror.”
In the SBS Plus and ENA “I Am Solo” episode aired on the 13th, viewers were glued to the screen as the behind-the-scenes drama involving Youngsook, Oksoon, Jeonghee, and Soonja unfolded.
The episode showed Soonja, the victim of a gossip controversy, struggling with immense stress. While in her room, she complained, “My upper stomach hurts because of the stress,” eventually suffering from stomach cramps that left viewers heartbroken.
Meanwhile, after speaking with Youngsook, Kyungsoo approached Soonja and said, “I wish you would use your super date ticket on me.” In exchange, he mentioned he would use his own super date ticket on Youngsook.
Unfortunately, Soonja’s condition worsened. As she continued to experience pain, the production team had to call an ambulance, and she was rushed to the hospital for treatment.
Shocked by the sudden turn of events, Kyungsoo shared his conflicted feelings, saying, “I wondered if it was right to make the person who is my first choice suffer like this.”
The online reaction following the broadcast was intense. Notably, the Google review page for the optical shop run by Kyungsoo was flooded with 1-star reviews.
Some netizens left comments such as “Be happy with Youngsook” and “I Am Solo plot twist legend.” It seems some viewers reacted emotionally to the show and left malicious reviews instead of sharing actual customer experiences.
MC Defconn had previously expressed concern over the excessive interest in the Season 31 cast. At the time, he urged viewers to refrain from visiting the cast members’ places of business.
Other netizens are also calling out the overheated reactions, questioning, “Is this okay when the ending isn’t even out yet?”, “Why are people acting like this?”, and “This is starting to get too much.”
