Singer Yoon Bok-hee shared a surprising part of her past, revealing, “It’s not that I didn’t have a child, I actually did.”
During a recent episode of MBN’s ‘Kim Ju-ha’s Day & Night’, MC Kim Ju-ha carefully asked if she had no children during her marriage. Yoon Bok-hee shocked everyone by responding, “It’s not that I didn’t have a child, I did.”
When Kim Ju-ha mentioned she believed Yoon had never given birth, the singer explained the situation. “I had a contract that forbade me from having children. When I signed with the agency, they felt others could be replaced, but I couldn’t, so I wasn’t allowed to have children even after marriage,” she shared.

When asked to clarify what she meant by “having a child,” Yoon Bok-hee paused and replied, “I terminated the pregnancies.” She confessed, “At the time, I didn’t know about contraception. Both my husband and I were ignorant about it. Because I kept getting pregnant, I had surgery about four times.”
She bowed her head and added, “Since becoming a Christian, that is the thing I have repented for the most. I believe it is the same as murder.”
She also addressed past rumors regarding cervical cancer surgery. Yoon Bok-hee explained, “Because I had surgeries at the OB-GYN, people thought I had given birth. That’s how the stories about me having children spread.”
Regarding her current health, Yoon Bok-hee shared, “Due to macular degeneration, I cannot see the center of my left eye clearly. I was told it is genetic.”
