The teaser video for I.O.I’s new track “Suddenly” was first released on the 6th.
In the video, Jeon Somi, wearing a pink dress, approaches Kim Doyeon, who is wearing a mint dress and leaning against a wall with her arms crossed, and gives her a short kiss.
Afterward, Jeon Somi closes the door and leaves, while Kim Doyeon is left looking shocked, covering her mouth and sinking to the floor.
Fans had various reactions to the clip, with some saying, “They really captured the song title well” and “This is a proper comeback,” while others questioned, “Why go with a same-sex concept instead of their old style?” and “I was looking forward to the reunion, but a same-sex kiss?”
