“I’m getting PTSD.” This is how viewers are reacting to the crossing-the-line behavior of some members of I am SOLO 31.
In the episode of ENA and SBS Plus’s real dating show I am SOLO aired on the 13th, viewers were furious over Young-sook and Ok-soon’s open badmouthing of Soon-ja during the “Super Date Ticket” mission, as well as Young-sook’s nonsensical remarks and Kyung-soo’s rudeness.
Among the men, Kyung-soo of the 31st batch was the first to win a Super Date Ticket. The women competed in a race where Soon-ja and Young-sook ran hard. During the race, Young-sook tripped over her own feet but somehow won the race and secured the Super Date Ticket.
In an interview, Soon-ja showed respect for Young-sook’s determination, saying, “I ran until I could taste blood, thinking I had to win one. Somehow Young-sook caught up to me, and I actually thought that was cool. I could feel her strong will. I understood her desire to beat me.”
However, Ok-soon loudly told Young-sook, “You worked so hard. You’re the number one in our hearts.” Young-sook then added, “I think I tripped over someone’s leg?” Panelist Song Hae-na reacted strongly, saying, “What is wrong with them? Watch your words.” Soon-ja overheard this and ended up curling up behind a door in tears.
Kyung-soo added fuel to the fire. Soon-ja began suffering from stomach cramps due to stress, but Kyung-soo called her and said, “Could you let me use the Super Date Ticket on you? It’s selfish, but I want to use it on Young-sook.”
Already in pain from the open badmouthing by Ok-soon and Young-sook, Soon-ja eventually collapsed, unable to speak. Production staff intervened, and an ambulance arrived to take her away.
Seeing Soon-ja cry, Young-sook asked, “Is she crying?” and told Jung-hee, “Ah, it’s scary,” before leaving. When Kyung-soo came by and said he couldn’t use the Super Date Ticket and would focus more on Soon-ja, Young-sook’s expression gradually changed.
In the preview, Young-sook entered the common living room and announced, “They say I’m first.” She also told Jung-hee and Young-shik, “Kyung-soo came and said he couldn’t use the Super Date Ticket on me. He said that after Soon-ja sobbed.” She then showed a shameless attitude, asking, “Why did I even run? Should I sob too?” To this, Defconn remarked, “That’s why you should have just won first.”
Viewers are outraged by Young-sook’s behavior.
