“Don’t come, you must be busy!”
In ‘Castle of Acting’, Im Hyung-jun opens his wallet for his birthday, only to have his mental state completely drained.
Between a never-ending relay of phone calls and a party size that spirals out of control, Im Hyung-jun finds himself in a crisis. As the beef orders keep piling up, he realizes he might actually spend his entire fortune on a single birthday party!
In the episode releasing on the 18th, Im Hyung-jun’s plan for a quiet birthday meal turns into a total mental breakdown as the gathering grows.
Im Hyung-jun starts his birthday meal at a beef restaurant with Kim Eui-sung and Hong Ki-jun. When Im Hyung-jun mentions he just wanted to eat with a few close friends, Kim Eui-sung immediately worries about his finances, saying, “I feel a bit bad about getting free meat from you.”
The peaceful vibe shifts when Kim Sung-oh calls Hong Ki-jun. Since Kim Sung-oh is nearby and wants to join, Kim Eui-sung tries to stop him, asking, “What are you going to do about the bill?” However, Im Hyung-jun eventually gives in, saying, “We’re close, so tell him to come.”
Kim Sung-oh naturally starts ordering more food, and then Won Hyun-jun, who happened to be in the area for a second-hand trade, declares he’ll stop by, completely chaotic-izing the scene. As the number of people and dishes increases, Kim Eui-sung triggers laughter by giving a real-time update on Im Hyung-jun’s state, noting, “Hyung-jun’s complexion is getting worse and worse.”
What started as a modest birthday gathering turns into an unexpected group dinner. With a twist involving the birthday cake that reportedly leads to Im Hyung-jun bursting into tears, curiosity is peaking.
Will Im Hyung-jun’s birthday meal end safely? Find out how he reacts to the growing crowd on May 18th at 6 PM via ‘Bibo TV’.
