Is this really Shin Ju-shin from ‘Doctor Shin’? Jung Yi-chan returns with a fresh ‘boyfriend’ vibe in new pictorial!

Agency J-Wide Company has unveiled Jung Yi-chan’s concept pictorial ‘WIDE SCENE’, showcasing the actor’s versatile visuals.

According to J-Wide Company, ‘WIDE SCENE’ is a photo project that captures the wide spectrum of actors. Jung Yi-chan flaunted his pure, youthful charm as a 2000-liner, pairing his sharp features with natural poses.

Reflecting on his role as Shin Ju-shin in the recently concluded ‘Doctor Shin’, he shared, “He’s the only genius doctor who can perform brain-change surgery. While I felt the pressure to do a great job, I was incredibly grateful and happy to be cast. I think ‘Doctor Shin’ and ‘Shin Ju-shin’ will stay with me for my entire career. Having lived as Ju-shin for about a year, I’ve developed a lot of affection for him.”

When asked about future roles, he revealed, “I think it would be really exciting to play a character obsessed with something, like the drumming in ‘Whiplash’ or the dancing in ‘Black Swan’. I want to try a character who is deeply immersed in a single goal, whether it’s love, sports, or anything else.”

The ‘WIDE SCENE’ Jung Yi-chan wants to focus on this year is ‘eyes’. He explained, “I want to be an actor who can communicate with the audience through my eyes, letting them know what I’m thinking and feeling even without saying a word.”
